# Tiger15 at Tiger Analytics, Chennai: One QR pass for booths, culture games, attendance and rewards

Tiger15 marked Tiger Analytics' fifteenth year in Chennai on 9–10 September 2026, with a gala night at the Leela Palace. Its Sociana app, delivered with the agency Quotient Activations, put one QR pass at the centre: booth owners scanned it for leads, marshals for offline games, the desk for attendance and the rewards counter for stock-checked merchandise, all feeding a live Tiger League.

## The occasion

Tiger15 marked fifteen years of Tiger Analytics in Chennai: a welcome-kit day on 9 September 2026 and a gala night at the Leela Palace on 10 September, under the banner “Built by the #TigerUnstoppable”. We delivered the app through Quotient Activations, the activations agency on the project.

## What the client needed

The occasion had an expo floor as well as a stage. Employees were meant to visit Tech booths where teams showed their work, try Culture activities spread across several floors, and collect points for doing both. Points had to turn into something real at a rewards counter, without the counter running out of stock mid-queue or the same person being paid twice.

Behind that sat four different jobs on the floor, each needing its own tool: booth owners who wanted to know who visited, marshals scoring games played away from any screen, a desk checking people in, and a counter handing over merchandise. Employees also needed a login tied to their employee ID, and a check that the person tapping “continue” was really them.

## What we built

### A login tied to the employee ID

After a dark Tiger Analytics splash and “Welcome, Tiger Tribe”, the app opens the right login for the occasion by itself: Employee ID and a case-sensitive password, or an email address and a one-time code. People signing in by email for the first time add their designation, office location and employee code. Then a Confirm It’s You card shows the name, employee ID and location, with Continue as and Not me.

### Home: countdown, prompt and the Tiger League

Home opens on an occasion selector set to Chennai, with a plus button for joining another occasion by code. Below it sit a countdown card with the date, city and an Agenda button, a pinned notice, a flashing reminder to “Scan your QR at all booths to earn rewards”, the employee’s own points and rank, and the Tiger League’s top five.

### One QR pass, explained on the pass

The big central button opens My QR Pass: name, designation, employee code and a count of Tech booths that have scanned you. Tap to expand the full code. Underneath, “How the QR system works” spells out the day: collect your welcome kit at the reception desk, where your QR is scanned for check-in; visit the Tech booths on the fourth floor, where each stall owner’s scan adds four points; then explore the culture booths on every floor.

### Explore: Tech booths and Culture activities

Explore has three tabs. Tech lists booths by session, with a visited count and a tick on every booth that has scanned you. Culture lists activities with their floor and points, such as a Tiger gene activity on the second floor and a retro photo booth on the fifth. Some are played in the app and score automatically; offline ones, such as My Tiger and Prompt Perfect, are marked on the spot by an event admin.

### The Tiger League

The third Explore tab is the full league, filterable by Overall, Tech or Culture, with a podium for the top three and your own row highlighted. By the close, the top score was 128 points, shared by several employees.

### Booth Owner Actions and My Stall Dashboard

Booth staff see an extra section on the Scanner tab with their booth’s name. Scan Visitor points the camera at a visitor’s pass and returns Lead Captured with the visitor’s name, designation, company, email and mobile, or Scan Failed. Each scan gives the visitor booth points and adds them to the booth’s list. On Profile, My Stall Dashboard shows total scans, total visitors and unique visitors, the stall code and the full visitor list.

### Culture Scanning, Attendance and Trigger Notifications

Marshals with games access open Culture Scanning, pick the activity, scan the participant and enter whole-number points with an optional note such as “Heat 1 winner”. The app confirms “Points recorded.” with the new total, Scanned Marks lists every award, and Already Marked stops the same person being scored twice for one game. Attendance holds two sessions, the welcome kit on 9 September and the gala night on 10 September; staff scan a pass or type an employee code, and the entry appears on that employee’s My Attendance. Main admins schedule push alerts to everyone or to selected groups.

Culture Scanning: choose the activity, then scan the pass.

### Rewards Scanning with live stock

The rewards desk sees every item with its points price and stock left: an umbrella, a pencil and glass bottles at 70 points each, and a power bank at 90\. Out-of-stock items cannot be selected. The desk taps Scan & Redeem, scans the employee’s pass and gets either Reward Handed Over, with the item, points spent, balance left and who handed it over and when, or Redemption Failed with the reason. Employees follow their own balance, earned, spent and redeemed points, and full history, under Rewards on Profile.

### Agenda and feed

The gala night’s agenda runs from registration and networking at five o’clock through the opening, “The Tiger Story: Then. Now. Next.”, “15 Years Ingenuity in Action” and a band performance with dinner. The Feed carries posts, hashtags such as #tiger15, likes, comments and shares; visitors can be limited to viewing it.

## How it ran

On 9 September, employees collected their welcome kits and had their pass scanned for check-in. Through the booth sessions, stall owners scanned visitors, marshals scored offline activities and the Tiger League moved on every Home screen. On 10 September, gala-night attendance was taken from the same pass. If a booth visit did not count, the instruction was simple: ask the stall to scan again, then pull down to refresh.

## Outcomes

The afternoon session shown in Explore listed 14 Tech booths, each with its own owner and scan list. By the close, the Tiger League’s top score stood at 128 points, shared by several employees. Every attendance mark, booth scan and redemption sits against a named employee, so organisers can see who checked in, which booths each person reached and what was handed over.

## What we would do again

Print the rules on the pass itself, so nobody has to ask how points work. Give each floor role its own phone screen rather than one shared admin login. Keep spendable points apart from league points, so redeeming an umbrella never costs anyone their rank. And show stock at the counter, so the queue never reaches an item that has already run out.
