# Walkthrough: Wallet points and a reward store with staff redemption A read-only walkthrough, not an interactive demo. In the product: spend 300 wallet points on a voucher and your leaderboard rank does not move, because wallet and leaderboard are two separate counts. Then a staff pane scans the redemption QR and the stock counter drops by one. The demo uses an eight-item sample catalogue with stock limits and per-person limits. Staff scan is sample by a button; the camera island is a separate demo. ## Step by step 1. **Open the rewards corner.** Your Points shows Total Earned and Total Spent. 2. **Redeem a reward.** Pick a voucher, check the points required and tap Redeem. 3. **See two separate counts.** Leaderboard points stay unchanged while the wallet balance falls. 4. **Staff scan the voucher.** Stock drops once; a second scan says already redeemed. ## What happens on each screen This is a written walkthrough, not an interactive demo: there is nothing to tap on this page. It describes how the screens behave in the product, using sample data. Sample data: a catalogue of eight fictional rewards with stock counts and per-person limits, a participant with 1,240 leaderboard points and a wallet of 540, and 20 sample transactions. The points label is configurable, so an occasion can call its currency something other than Points. No real payment or voucher is involved. Start on the attendee phone in the rewards corner. The Your Points card shows a balance beside Total Earned and Total Spent, and a link, Tap to view transaction history, opens a filterable list. Below is Available Rewards: a grid where each card shows its points price, a line such as 3 left and, where relevant, max 1 per person. Tap a voucher. The detail view shows the points required and your balance, and a Redeem button. Tap it. A QR voucher is created under My Redemptions. Now look at the two tiles the demo puts side by side: Leaderboard points 1,240, unchanged, and Wallet 540 changing to 240\. That contrast is the lesson. Wallet points are what you spend; leaderboard points are what you earned, and spending never costs you your rank. One reward is a scratch card. Drag over the panel with your pointer to reveal it, or press Reveal if you prefer a button. Move to the staff pane. Tap Scan to simulate reading the participant's redemption QR, and the line reads Redeemed, with stock 3 to 2\. Scan the same code again and the answer is Already redeemed. A reversal, with a reason, puts the stock back. Other participants redeem while you watch, so the stock on the cards changes. The demo does not show gift-card fulfilment or tax-compliant benefits; it is a venue reward store, with points that can be exported for gift-card redemption elsewhere. Wallet points and leaderboard points are separate counts. Spending wallet points on a reward does not reduce your rank, which is shown side by side in the demo. How does staff redemption work? The participant gets a QR voucher under My Redemptions. Staff scan it, the stock drops by one and a second scan is refused as already redeemed. Staff can reverse with a reason. Can rewards be limited? Yes. Each reward can have a points price, a stock count and a per-person limit, all shown on the card. Is this a gift-card marketplace?
