## Photobooth in detail

Photobooths are one of the oldest event activations, and the cheapest way to turn guests into content creators. Sociana's version is software-only: participants take photos inside the app with branded frames or themes, and the results flow into the timeline, social wall or gallery under the occasion's moderation rules. At a cultural offsite, a selfie booth next to a scavenger hunt turned a game into shareable memories; at a wedding, themed frames fit each function. The software-only boundary matters. Sociana does not supply booth hardware, instant printing or AI video booths, so organisers wanting a physical booth with printing should bring a hardware partner, with Sociana providing the digital layer. Design choices include the frame artwork, whether images carry a hashtag, who can download and whether posts wait for approval. Check consent wording if faces will be processed by Smart Lens later.

## How Sociana uses it

Photobooth content is part of the media cluster with reels. Frames and themes come from the occasion's look and layout, and posts follow feed and moderation rules.

## Example

A cultural offsite paired a selfie booth with its scavenger hunt so completed clues produced shareable photos.
