# Redeem rewards with your wallet

How to check your points balance, open the reward store, redeem an item, scratch a reward card and see your redemption history in a Sociana app.

1. Open Well Done or the wallet tile and check Your Cheerio Points
2. Tap Available Rewards and choose an item
3. Review the points required against your balance and tap redeem
4. Open My Redemptions to see claimed items; show the QR to staff if collection needs it

## Good to know

- Wallet points are spent; leaderboard points are not reduced when you redeem.
- Items have stock and a per-person limit. Some rewards come as a scratch card; tap or scratch to reveal.
- Select **Tap to view transaction history** for earned and spent entries.

## If something goes wrong

**The redeem button is inactive.** Your balance is lower than the price, or the item is out of stock.

**The balance looks old.** Tap the refresh icon.

**Staff must scan first.** Some stores require staff to scan the redemption QR before handing over the item.

## Questions

### How do I earn points?

Through activities the organiser scores, such as approved submissions, games and attendance. Wallet points are spent when you redeem, while leaderboard points are not reduced. Select “Tap to view transaction history” to see earned and spent entries. If the balance looks old, tap the refresh icon.

### Do points expire?

Ask the organiser, because expiry is set per occasion. Items have stock and a per-person limit, so a reward can run out before your points do. If the redeem button is inactive, your balance is lower than the price or the item is out of stock. Some stores need staff to scan your redemption QR first.
