# Configure the leaderboard and points

How organisers choose which activities feed the leaderboard, set points, add team boards, pause the tab and make logged manual adjustments.

1. Switch on Leaderboard for the occasion
2. Set points for each feeding activity, such as polls, games, steps and attendance
3. Add Team boards beside the individual ranking if needed
4. Pause the tab, or adjust points manually, when a correction is due

## Good to know

- Admin adjustments are logged with who and when.
- A paused board shows a red lock on the tab.
- Staff accounts can be hidden from rankings.

## If something goes wrong

**A rank did not move.** The source activity may not have synced or been approved yet.

**Staff appear in the ranking.** Switch on staff exclusion.

**The board is empty.** Nothing has been scored yet.

## Questions

### Is this the same balance as the wallet?

No. Wallet points are spent separately, so redeeming a reward does not lower anyone’s leaderboard rank. The leaderboard is fed by activities you score, such as polls, games, steps and attendance. Admin adjustments are logged with who and when, which helps when someone disputes a score.

### Can I filter a board by day?

Yes, by date range or activity. Participants can do this too from the Leaderboard screen, and you can add Team boards beside the individual ranking. If a rank did not move, the source activity may not have synced or been approved yet. A paused board shows a red lock on the tab.
