# Export reports

How organisers pull attendance, participation, step, hospitality and ticket exports from the admin panel and who is allowed to do it.

1. Open Reports for the occasion
2. Choose the data set, such as attendance by session or participation by group
3. Apply date, group or activity filters
4. Export, or schedule a recurring export

## Good to know

- Reports cover one occasion unless an organisation-level view is requested.
- Only roles with report permission can export participant data.
- Activity logs record admin actions.

## If something goes wrong

**Export is empty.** Filters are too narrow.

**Button is missing.** Your role lacks report permission.

**Counts differ from the app.** The app may not have refreshed.

## Questions

### Can exports go to a sheet?

Yes, through a Sheets connection, or you can export a file or schedule a recurring export. Choose the data set, such as attendance by session or participation by group, and apply date, group or activity filters. If the export is empty, the filters are too narrow. Reports cover one occasion unless you ask for an organisation-level view.

### Are admin actions logged?

Yes, in activity logs, which record admin actions such as exports and adjustments. Only roles with report permission can export participant data, so if the export button is missing, your role lacks that permission. Counts that differ from the app usually mean the app has not refreshed yet.
