# Moderate posts and approve the social wall

How organisers approve collected public posts before they reach a wall, and remove timeline posts and comments from the panel or the mobile dashboard.

1. Switch on Social wall for the occasion
2. Choose collection by hashtag or by profile
3. Open the queue and approve each post you want shown
4. Remove unwanted timeline posts and comments from the panel or the in-app dashboard

## Good to know

- The wall collects public posts only; private accounts are not read.
- Approval comes before display, so nothing appears unreviewed.
- Timeline posts follow separate posting rules from the wall.

## If something goes wrong

**The queue is empty.** The hashtag is not in use yet or the posting account is private.

**The wall stays blank.** No post has been approved.

**A guest post is still visible.** Delete it from the timeline moderation view.

## Questions

### Can I auto-approve everything?

The default is approve first, so nothing appears on the wall unreviewed; ask before relaxing it. The wall collects public posts only, by hashtag or by profile, and private accounts are not read. If the wall stays blank, no post has been approved. Timeline posts follow separate posting rules from the wall.

### Who moderates?

Panel roles with moderation access, and Owners and Managers in the app. Open the queue, approve each post you want shown, and remove unwanted timeline posts and comments from the panel or the in-app dashboard. If a guest post is still visible, delete it from the timeline moderation view.
