# Run tournaments, contests and submissions

How organisers create a tournament with contests, collect participant submissions, approve quantities and apply day-based scoring and group eligibility.

SSociana team·19 Oct 2026·2 min read

1. Create the tournament as a container for its contests
2. Add each contest with its scoring and day rules
3. Review incoming submissions in the panel or the in-app dashboard
4. Approve with the confirmed quantity so points post

## Good to know

- Points post only after approval.
- Day-based caps stop volume being banked in one sitting.
- Competitions can limit entry by group and capacity.

## If something goes wrong

**Points are missing.** The submission is still waiting for approval.

**A guest cannot join.** Check group eligibility and capacity.

**A submission looks wrong.** Reject with a note and ask for a resubmission.

## Questions

### Can I review from my phone?

Yes, Owners and Managers can approve from the in-app dashboards as well as the panel. Open the submission queue, check the proof, then approve with the confirmed quantity so points post. If the submission looks wrong, reject with a note and ask for a resubmission. Points post only after approval.

### Do approved entries reach the leaderboard?

Yes, once points post, and points post only after approval. If points are missing, the submission is still waiting for approval. Day-based caps stop volume being banked in one sitting, and competitions can limit entry by group and capacity. If a guest cannot join, check group eligibility and capacity.
