No. Sociana runs no-login live polls and no-login live voting on the public web: attendees scan a QR code on the venue screen and answer in the browser, while app users answer the same question in the branded app. Who can trigger a poll or quiz during a session? Admins in the panel and in-app Owners or Managers with trigger rights can push polls and quiz questions live, so the person on stage or at the console controls timing rather than a scheduled job. Can poll participation earn leaderboard points? Yes. Participation in polls, quizzes and feedback can award points that flow into Sociana's unified leaderboard alongside games, attendance, steps and scans, with staff exclusion available. ## See it set up for your event.
