# New Year office party tambola that the whole company plays

For a New Year office party, Sociana Play runs tambola on every employee’s phone: scan the QR code, get a ticket, play, with nothing to download. One game holds up to 500 players and takes 25 to 45 minutes, and HR can test it first on the free 2-hour hosted trial at play.sociana.in/try. Last updated 2 Nov 2026\. The rhyming calls can joke about your company (the Monday standup, the printer, the lunch queue), the LED wall shows the board, and the server checks each claim, so the prizes stay fair and no manager has to judge a tie.

For the couple or host planning their own event and for the planner choosing for a client. 6 games, each playable in your browser from this page.

## How to run it

Book a 45-minute slot and put the QR on the LED wall plus on every table.

Write a one-line theme (“Acme Pvt Ltd, New Year party, standup, chai”) so the calls are about your office.

Split prizes across Early Five, the lines, Four Corners and Full House so many people win.

Have HR or a senior colleague host the console and read the first calls aloud.

## If you are planning this for a client

For HR and event teams: the same game works in one hall or across a hybrid event, and every claim is checked on the server, so the host does not have to adjudicate.

## Questions people ask

How many employees can play at once?

Up to 500 players in one game, each on their own phone.

Can we try it before the party?

Yes. A free 2-hour hosted trial is available at play.sociana.in/try.

Is it a long session?

No. A game runs 25 to 45 minutes, so it fits between the speeches and dinner.
