# Responsible AI at Sociana

Sociana uses AI in a few named places: organiser-approved session summaries, AI avatars, AI games and activations, and the Smart Lens photo finder. Each one is switched on per event, and session summaries need an organiser’s approval before anyone sees them.

## Principles

- Off unless switched on: no AI feature runs unless the organiser sets it up for the event.
- A person in the loop wherever AI output reaches other people.
- Back-up content for live AI activations, so a failed or off-brand output never reaches the big screen.

FAQ

## Common questions

Does AI publish anything to guests without a human check?

No. AI session summaries are published only after an organiser approves them. AI avatars return the image only to the guest who asked for it, and the organiser chooses whether those features are on.

Does Sociana’s AI write quizzes or match delegates?

No. Quizzes and polls are written by people, and the delegate directory works on group rules and chat requests, not AI matchmaking.
