Submission in detail
In programme-style occasions, participation is not only tapping a poll; it is doing something and reporting it. The submission is the record of that report. A participant files an entry under a contest: a KPI update, a photo of an action, a completed form, or a quantity such as units logged. Depending on the contest rules, a reviewer approves or rejects it, a quantity can be recorded, and scoring can follow the approved count or the day of submission. Because every submission is a discrete record with a person, a time and a status, programme owners can measure what many HR teams actually care about: how many were filed, how fast they were reviewed, and who stopped submitting. These appear in mobile dashboards as user-wise submission views. Submissions earn points that flow into the unified leaderboard, and rejected entries do not. Clear rejection reasons help participants resubmit correctly rather than quietly dropping out.
How Sociana uses it
Submissions are the leaf of the tournament, contest and submission chain. Statuses and review turnaround appear in the User-wise Submissions dashboard and in exports.
Example
An ambassador programme tracked each quarter's KPI submissions per person alongside how quickly reviewers approved them.
