Your guests’ data, handled with care.

How Sociana protects the people at your event: who can sign in, who sees what, how payments and sensitive features work, and what happens to data afterwards. Written for your IT, legal and procurement reviewers.

Only your guests get in

Logins check your list: OTP, employee code, delegate ID and PIN, or a company email domain.

Everyone sees only their part

Roles for your team, and agenda, polls and chat scoped to each guest group.

Payments stay with Razorpay

Card and UPI details are entered in Razorpay’s checkout, not in Sociana.

Sensitive features are opt-in

Step tracking needs the guest’s permission; Smart Lens is off unless you switch it on.

Your data, your call

Export everything at any time. Guests can delete their account in the app.

People on the day

A named delivery lead and an ops desk watch every live event.

A platform-wide uptime percentage
Event-day support levels are written into each order instead.

FAQ

Questions reviewers ask

Who can see attendee data in a Sociana app?

Access is role-based: Sociana’s super admins, your panel admins for the events you give them, and in-app owners or managers for tasks such as attendance. Guests see their own arrangements and the content meant for their groups.

Is Sociana SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certified?

No. Sociana holds neither certification and does not display certificate badges. We answer security questionnaires in full and can walk your IT team through our controls.

Where is Sociana data hosted?

The apps run on Google Firebase and Cloud Firestore with a Rails backend, and the web pages on Vercel. Enterprise plans can run on your servers or in a region you choose.

Does Sociana sign an NDA or data-processing terms?

Yes. We sign NDAs, and enterprise contracts can include data-processing terms aligned with India’s DPDP Act.

What happens to data after the event?

Organisers can export everything and ask us to delete their event’s data at any time. Guests can delete their account in the app. Apps stay live for 12 months unless you ask us to close them sooner.
