Scan attendance with the organiser app

How Owners and Managers open Attendance on Profile, filter All, Present and Absent, scan a QR code or use Add User with an email or phone number.

  1. On Profile tap Attendance to see the categories, such as days or sessions
  2. Tap a category to open its users list
  3. Filter with All, Present or Absent, or search for a person
  4. Tap the QR scan icon and point the camera at the attendee QR, or tap Add User, type Email / Phone and tap Add User

Good to know

  • Attendance and Trigger Notifications are visible only to Owners and Managers.
  • Rejected scans are still logged with scanner and time so you can reconcile later.
  • Attendees show their code from Profile > My QR Code.

If something goes wrong

The scanner says Invalid QR Code. Ask the attendee to open Profile > My QR Code and try again.

The camera does not open. Allow camera permission for the app in phone Settings.

Someone is not in the list. Use Add User with their registered email or phone.

Questions

Can attendees check themselves in?

Only where self check-in is switched on for that activity. Otherwise an Owner or Manager scans the attendee’s QR from Profile, then Attendance. Attendees show their code from Profile, then My QR Code. If someone is not in the list, use Add User with their registered email or phone, and filter by Present or Absent to reconcile.

Does scanning need a connection?

Yes. Scans are recorded on the server, so the phone needs a connection when you scan. Rejected scans are still logged with scanner and time, so you can reconcile later. If the scanner says Invalid QR Code, ask the attendee to reopen My QR Code. If the camera does not open, allow camera permission.
