Set up a no-login poll for a venue screen

How organisers publish a QR-linked web poll for people without the app and show live results on a venue screen.

  1. Switch on No-login live polls for the occasion
  2. Create the poll and copy its public link and QR code
  3. Put the QR on a slide or sign
  4. Open the results view on the venue screen while voting runs

Good to know

  • Every web answer is stored against the occasion, so reports stay unified.
  • Group-scoped polls need a logged-in app user.
  • Close the poll before you show final results.

If something goes wrong

The link does not open. Check that the poll is live and the link is the current one.

Votes look doubled. Review the vote limit on the poll.

The screen shows no results. Reload the results page on the venue device.

Questions

Do voters need an account?

No. Anyone in the room can scan the QR and answer, with no app install and no sign-in. Every web answer is stored against the occasion, so reports stay unified. Group-scoped polls need a logged-in app user, so use a normal in-app poll when only one group should vote.

Yes. Public links can be switched off at any time, and you should close the poll before you show final results. If votes look doubled, review the vote limit on the poll. If the link does not open, check that the poll is live and that you copied the current link.
