Sociana + AiSensy
AiSensy is one of the WhatsApp Business API providers Sociana can send campaigns through. If you hold an AiSensy account, the Sociana team can discuss sending approved templates through it. Which provider a given occasion uses is agreed at project start; Sociana is not a certified AiSensy partner.

What it does inside Sociana
Sociana's WhatsApp module is provider-based: it works through an organisation-level provider account rather than a Sociana-owned number. AiSensy, Brevo and Twilio are the usual options. AiSensy is a BSP popular with Indian small and mid-size businesses, so it is a natural fit where an organiser already has an account.
What the organiser configures
- Your AiSensy account and API access
- Approved templates for invitation, reminder, OTP, ticket and invoice
- Sender number and the fallback setting
- Audience groups and the send schedule
Data that flows, and where it is stored
| Data | From | To | Stored |
|---|---|---|---|
| Phone, name and template variables | Sociana member record | AiSensy, then WhatsApp | Message and status at AiSensy; send record in Sociana delivery log |
| Delivery status | AiSensy | Sociana delivery log | Sociana database (hosting region on request) |
Data protection (DPDP)
The organiser is the Data Fiduciary and Sociana acts as processor. Ask us for the hosting region and retention period that apply to your occasion; the sub-processor list is on the Sub-processors and integrations page. We do not state a region or retention period on this page.
Security notes
- Phone numbers and variables pass to AiSensy and Meta; AiSensy would appear on the sub-processor list if used.
- Ask us how credentials are handled; we answer in writing.
Set-up checklist
- Ask the Sociana team whether AiSensy is workable for your occasion; confirm before you buy credits.
- Create or verify your WhatsApp Business account in AiSensy.
- Submit templates for approval and wait for the result.
- Share the API credentials securely at set-up and run an internal test send.
- Review delivery logs after the first campaign.
Limits, stated plainly
- AiSensy is one provider option; the provider for your app is agreed at project start.
- AiSensy's plans, message charges and service terms apply and are outside Sociana's control.
- Sociana is not an AiSensy partner and has no certification or marketplace listing.

Pricing note
AiSensy bills its own plan and message charges to the organiser. See the WhatsApp Business API page for indicative figures.

Questions people ask
Is Sociana an AiSensy partner?
No. AiSensy is one provider Sociana can send WhatsApp messages through. Whether it suits your occasion is agreed at project start, with the provider contract held by you.
Can we choose another WhatsApp provider?
Yes, the route is the organisation's own provider account. Twilio and Brevo are other options; any other BSP is agreed with the delivery team.
Who pays AiSensy?
You do. Plan fees and message charges are billed by AiSensy and Meta to your account. Sociana's price sheet lists WhatsApp messaging on actuals.
