Event push notification copy templates
Thirty push notification drafts for conferences, written within the limits of a lock screen: a short title, a body under 90 characters and the moment to send. Replace the bracketed parts and schedule the lot in one sitting.
No sign-up needed.
Who it is for
- Association secretariats who message delegates through the day
- Corporate event managers who schedule announcements
- Session chairs who send reminders from the stage
How to use it
- Replace the bracketed parts with your session names, rooms and times.
- Keep titles under 40 characters and body copy under 90, so they are not cut off on the lock screen.
- Schedule the routine ones in advance and leave a few slots for live changes.
- Limit pushes to the ones people act on; save the rest for in-app notices.

Where it has been used
Based on notification patterns for conferences where reminders, room changes and thank-you notes shaped delegates’ days.
Questions people ask
How many notifications per day are acceptable?
Four to six on conference days is generally fine, if each is useful. More than that, and people switch notifications off. Keep reminders for the sessions that actually need them.
Should notifications mention the room?
Yes. A reminder that includes time and room answers the question that would otherwise lead to a search. If rooms change, send a new push to the group that is affected.
What tone works best?
Plain and specific. Say what is happening, when and where. Avoid exclamation marks and capital letters; people respond to clarity more than to enthusiasm.
