How we calculate
- Reward value
people × share earning × points per earner × redemption rate ÷ points per ₹1Only redeemed points cost money; the rest sit in wallets.
- Handling and delivery
10% of reward value + physical items × delivery costItems = reward value ÷ average reward value.
- Total
set-up + reward value + handling + delivery (+ platform if included)Set-up is ₹25,000 for individual boards or ₹40,000 for teams or regions.
- Points per ₹1 to fit
points redeemed × (1.1 + physical share × delivery ÷ average reward) ÷ (budget − fixed costs)Every variable cost falls as points are worth less, so one number brings the total to your budget.
Assumptions
- Reward fulfilment is passed through at cost plus 10% handling; set-up from the price list dated 23 Oct 2026, ex-GST.
- Participation & Rewards (from ₹2,25,000 for up to 1,000 people) includes the wallet and store; leave it out if you already have it.
- A 75% redemption rate is a planning assumption. Expiry dates and reminders move it.

Questions about this calculator
How do I budget for an employee reward store?
Estimate the points people will earn, the share they will redeem and the value of a point. Redeemed points × value is the reward cost; add handling, delivery and set-up. Then set points per ₹1 so the total fits your budget.
What should one point be worth?
Pick a value that makes everyday actions feel worth a little and big actions worth a lot: at 10 points per ₹1, a 20-point quiz is ₹2 and 3,000 points buys a ₹300 voucher. Change it before launch, not after.
What happens to points that are never redeemed?
They are a liability while they can still be spent. Set an expiry date and remind people before it, so the unspent balance does not surprise finance a year later.
Vouchers or physical rewards?
E-vouchers have no delivery cost and arrive instantly. Physical goods feel more special but add delivery and returns. Many programmes offer both.
