Treasure hunts

Get people moving, then reward them for finding things.

A hunt is a set of physical markers linked to the app. Participants scan a QR code or hold a printed card up to the camera, and the app opens a clue, a question or an augmented reveal, recording who found what and when. The Jharokha Sangam in Jaipur ran Lukka-Chippi, a hunt for printed palace-themed cards.

People explore the venue

Stalls, gardens and corners get visitors they would otherwise miss.

Teams talk to each other

Hunts are a shared task, ideal for mixing departments.

Every find counts

Points go to the unified leaderboard with the rest of the programme.

How it works

How it works

  1. Plan the markers

Where they go, what each reveals and the order, if any.

  2. Participants scan

A QR or a printed card opens the clue or reveal and records the find.

  3. Score the hunt

Points per marker and a bonus for finishing.

What your team sets up

Markers, order and points

Your team decides the markers, whether they must be found in order, how many times each can score and what a finished hunt is worth.

  • QR markers or printed AR cards
  • Step order, if the hunt is a trail
  • Scan limits per participant or team
  • Points per marker and a completion bonus
