X-Avatar in detail
Avatars give participants something to post that looks like them but belongs to the occasion's theme. The X-Avatar, from an experience-catalogue corporate app, takes a selfie and returns a stylised image in the programme's visual language, which can be saved or posted to the timeline. It sits in the Intelligence layer of the platform with Growth Selfie and Future Self, all of them selfie-based AI activations. The organiser's decisions are about theme, consent and moderation: whether generated images need approval before appearing in the feed, how long the source selfie is kept and what the fallback is if generation fails. Sociana tracks completion, fallback and latency for AI activations, since a slow or failed generation damages the experience. These are software-only activations; Sociana does not offer AI video, headshot studios or booth hardware. Test with varied faces and lighting before launch, because performance differences across skin tones and photos are a real risk to guard against.
