Good to know
- No poll running shows “Stay tuned!” and you will be notified when voting opens, or the message “Currently there is no Live polls”.
- Some polls are for a group only, such as Partners.
- Quiz questions can carry leaderboard points; your rank and score show when the quiz ends.
If something goes wrong
There is nothing to vote on. The host has not started a poll. Pull down to refresh.
You cannot change an answer. A submitted vote is final in most polls.
The room has no app. Organisers can open a no-login poll page by QR code instead.
Questions
Are votes anonymous?
Results appear to everyone as percentages, not as a list of names. Whether the organiser can see who chose which option depends on how the poll is set up and stored for your occasion, so ask the organiser before assuming a vote is private. Quiz answers, by contrast, feed your score on the leaderboard.
Why did I get a notification?
Voting opening can trigger a push notification if you have allowed notifications for the app. If no poll is running, the Live Polls screen shows “Stay tuned!” and the app tells you when voting opens, so you do not need to keep refreshing. Turn notifications on in phone Settings if you want that alert.
