- Where configured, a fallback message can follow a failed send.
If something goes wrong
The template is rejected. Edit the wording and resubmit it on the WhatsApp side before sending.
Messages are not delivered. Check the provider status for opt-in and number problems.
OTP codes do not arrive over WhatsApp. Confirm the WhatsApp OTP switch and its fallback are on.
Questions
Whose sender number is used?
The organisation’s own WhatsApp provider number. Messages go from the organisation’s own provider account, not from Sociana, so the template approval, opt-in and sender number are all on the organisation’s side. Delivered and read counts are the provider record; no delivery figure is promised in the panel.
Can tickets and invoices go the same way?
Yes where those message types are set up. Each message type needs its own approved template on the WhatsApp side. A fallback message can follow a failed send where configured. If messages are not delivered, check the provider status for opt-in and number problems before you resend.
