Walkthrough
Walkthrough: Team boards with admin adjustments
A read-only walkthrough, not an interactive demo. In the product: switch between Individual and Teams, then act as the organiser: adjust a team's points with a reason, exclude staff from the board and pause it with one switch. The demo uses six fictional teams of five walkers, and every adjustment leaves an audit line so you can see how a disputed score is corrected.

A walkthrough, not a live demo. Nothing on this page is interactive. Sample teams and points; adjustments are not saved. Wallet points are a separate balance and are not shown here. Step data is sample, not read from a phone.
Step by step
- Open the Leaderboard tab. Switch from Individual to Teams and read the Your rank card.
- Adjust a team's points. The organiser adds or removes points and must give a reason.
- Exclude staff. Tick the staff exclusion and the staff member leaves the board.
- Pause the board. The tab shows the red lock and the board cannot be opened.
What happens on each screen
This is a written walkthrough, not an interactive demo: there is nothing to tap on this page. It describes how the screens behave in the product, using sample data.
Sample data: six fictional teams of five people from a walking programme, with points from steps, polls and attendance. Nothing you change is stored. Start on the attendee phone, on the Leaderboard tab. Under the banner are the tabs All Activity, Step Count and Activity Tracker, and a switch labelled Individual and Teams. The Your rank card shows where Priya stands. Tap Teams and the board regroups: each row is a team, with its combined points and rank. Now cross to the organiser pane. The organiser can adjust points, positive or negative, but the form asks for a reason. Add 120 points to the team that lost steps to a late sync, type late sync on 14 Nov, and save. The team moves up, and an audit line records who changed what, by how much and why. That line is what answers the question every programme owner is asked sooner or later: why did this team move? Next, the staff toggle. Ananya, who runs the programme, appears on the board because she tested the app. Tick Exclude staff and she disappears, and everyone else's rank closes up. A time filter lets you view Today, Day 1 or Overall. Finally, press Pause. Back on the phone, the Leaderboard tab shows a small red lock and a note that the board has been paused by the organisers and cannot be opened right now. Unpause and it returns. When the data is empty, for example before the first points, the phone says Currently there is no leaderboard data available. The demo does not show reward spending, because wallet points are a separate balance and have their own demo. Next step: read the unified leaderboard feature page and book a 20-minute walkthrough to design your points scheme.
Questions people ask
Can the organiser correct a team's score?
Yes. The demo shows points adjusted up or down with a mandatory reason, and each change leaves an audit line with who, how much and why.
Can staff accounts be kept off the public board?
Yes. A staff exclusion switch removes staff from the board so test accounts do not distort rankings.
What happens when the board is paused?
The tab shows a small red lock and tells members that the organisers have paused it. It returns when the organiser unpauses it.
Are team points the same as reward points?
No. Leaderboard points and wallet points are separate counts: spending a reward does not move your rank.
Seen enough to try it?
We will load a demo with your agenda and your groups, so your team can test it on their own phones.
