Surface in detail
The Sociana Engine does not power one screen; it powers several surfaces, and treating them as separate is what makes the platform useful on event day. The attendee app is where participants find agenda, arrangements and games. The admin panel is the web console for configuration and records. Public web flows serve people who will never install anything: ticket checkout, no-login polls and voting, public leaderboards and shared post links. Venue screens are browser views built for projectors and LED walls. Partner web gives integration partners controlled access to shared data. In-app mobile dashboards put summary views in managers' hands. Because every surface reads from the same engine, a vote cast on a public web page appears on the venue screen and the leaderboard immediately. Each feature page lists which surfaces it appears on, so buyers can see the full footprint of a capability.
How Sociana uses it
Surfaces are the Experience and Control layers in practice. Feature pages declare surfaces explicitly, so you can see whether a capability reaches participants, organisers, the public web or the venue screen.
Example
A live poll at a conference runs on the attendee app, a public web link and the venue screen from one engine.
