- Open Delegates from the bottom menu and stay on the All tab
- Search by name, email, phone, company, designation, city or tags and tap the person
- Type a message and send it; this is your chat request
- When they accept, chat freely. Incoming requests sit in My Chats, where you tap Accept chat request or Reject
Good to know
- Until acceptance you see You can continue once the receiver accepts your chat request.
- Unregistered visitors can browse delegates, but networking stays locked until they tap Register Now.
- Group Chat or Discussions, where switched on, is a separate shared room; type @ to mention someone.
If something goes wrong
The Delegates tab shows a lock. The organisers have not opened it yet.
You cannot send a message. Sign up first with Register Now, then retry.
You blocked someone by mistake. Open their profile and review the block options; limited blocks hide only some activity.
Questions
Does the other person see my phone number?
Only the details the organiser makes visible on delegate profiles, such as company and city. Your first message is a request, and until the other person accepts you see “You can continue once the receiver accepts your chat request”. If you block someone by mistake, open their profile and review the block options.
How long does a request stay open?
Until the person accepts or rejects it. Incoming requests sit in My Chats, where they tap Accept chat request or Reject. Nothing flows until they do. Unregistered visitors can browse delegates but cannot send a message, so tap Register Now first if the Delegates tab will not let you send.
