AI as judge

Prompt Relay: one prompt, four players

Prompt Relay is a concept activation, built per occasion: four players add subject, environment, style and restrictions to one prompt, one person at a time, without breaking the brief. An image model generates the result and a second model judges it against the hidden target for compliance.

ConceptConcept, built for your event. We scope it, rehearse it with your team and agree a fallback. It builds on Prompt Perfect, a two-player image challenge.

The idea

The AI is the judge of a team's discipline. It rewards the team that follows constraints as well as the one that is most creative, so the quiet colleague who adds the last restriction matters. It extends Prompt Perfect, an earlier two-player image challenge.

How it runs on event day

Attendee
Takes one turn on a tablet, adds one element to the shared prompt and watches the reveal with the team.
Operator
Writes the hidden brief and the constraints, sets turn time and approves the final image before the reveal.
LED or venue screen
Four turn panels, the growing prompt, the generated image and the team scores.

Inputs and outputs

Inputs

  • A hidden target brief and constraints from the organiser
  • Four players' prompt fragments in order

Outputs

  • Final generated image
  • Compliance, creativity and constraint-discipline scores
  • Team points

Moderation and fallback

Human approval. A prompt filter runs on every fragment, an operator approves the final image before the reveal, and the judge's scoring lines are visible so they can be challenged.

If something fails

  • A named operator can pause, skip or replay any round from the admin panel
  • If generation fails, the round reruns once, then the team gets a pre-made image to score against
  • Prompt Perfect's earlier two-player duel can replace the relay if four tablets are not available

Privacy and consent

No camera or microphone is needed. Typed answers and chosen options are stored with the participant record for scoring and reports, and the notice says so. Names and company details appear on a screen only if the organiser switches that on.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 the organiser decides the purpose and the retention period, and Sociana configures the consent notice, the withdrawal route and deletion on request. Collect only what a round needs. Details sit on the data protection and AI pages in the trust centre; nothing here is a legal opinion. What drives the cost

Price band: ₹35,000–₹75,000 per activation per occasion, ex-GST (add-on menu). Per-completion model costs are quoted on actuals at proposal; no per-completion rate is published.

  • Rounds per day times players per round, since every completion triggers one or more model calls
  • Model mix for the round: one image generation and one judging pass per team round
  • Team size and retries: each retry is another generation
  • Peak concurrency, which sets queueing and the number of kiosks or tablets
  • Retention of outputs: replays, galleries and downloads add storage and moderation time
  • Rehearsal and operator time on site; kiosks, tablets, cameras and LED walls come from the venue or a hardware partner, not from Sociana

Questions people ask

How is this related to Prompt Perfect?

Prompt Perfect is an earlier two-player image challenge. Prompt Relay is a team concept built on the same idea: write prompts against a target and compare the generated image. Treat the relay as new.

Who checks the judge model?

An operator sees the scoring lines before they post and can change them. A human host can also overrule the winner on stage, so one odd comparison does not decide the prize.

What hardware does it need?

Four tablets or phones and a big reveal screen, supplied by the venue or a hardware partner. Sociana provides the software side only.
