AI as creator
Object Remix: turn an object into an invention
Object Remix is a concept activation, built per occasion: a participant photographs an everyday object, types how to transform it, and an image model returns an impossible invention that keeps the object's look. The best remixes go on a live wall and anyone can download a branded version.
ConceptConcept, built for your event. We scope it, rehearse it with your team and agree a fallback.
The idea
The participant is the director and the AI is the creator. A steel tiffin becomes a flying lunchbox, a conference lanyard becomes a bridge. The result is personal and shareable, and a sponsor frame turns every download into a small piece of brand reach.
How it runs on event day
- Attendee
- Photographs an object with the phone or a kiosk camera, types one transformation line and waits for the result, then downloads or posts it.
- Operator
- Sets the sponsor frame and a blocked-word list, approves what reaches the wall, and caps the number of generations per person.
- LED or venue screen
- A live gallery of approved remixes with the original photo beside each, refreshed as the operator approves.
Inputs and outputs
Inputs
- Photo of an object
- One-line transformation instruction
- Participant identity for attribution and caps
Outputs
- Remixed image, branded on download
- Entry in the live wall after approval
- Count of generations for the report
Moderation and fallback
Human approval. The prompt filter blocks unsafe terms, every wall item is approved by an operator first, and a participant's own download needs no approval. The photo guidance asks for objects, not people.
If something fails
- A named operator can pause, skip or replay any round from the admin panel
- If generation fails, the participant sees a retry and a clearer-photo tip, as in the avatar flow, and can skip
- If the model is down, a pre-made branded stock remix set plays so the wall is never empty
Privacy and consent
A selfie is taken or uploaded only after a consent tap, and a disclaimer at login records agreement wherever an avatar may appear on a venue screen, as in Growth Code. Participants can skip and still play. The photo is used to generate the result and removed on the retention schedule set for the occasion.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 the organiser decides the purpose and the retention period, and Sociana configures the consent notice, the withdrawal route and deletion on request. Collect only what a round needs. Details sit on the data protection and AI pages in the trust centre; nothing here is a legal opinion. What drives the cost
Price band: ₹35,000–₹75,000 per activation per occasion, ex-GST (add-on menu). Per-completion model costs are quoted on actuals at proposal; no per-completion rate is published.
- Rounds per day times players per round, since every completion triggers one or more model calls
- Model mix for the round: a vision model for the object and an image model for the remix
- Generations per person and the cap you set
- Peak concurrency, which sets queueing and the number of kiosks or tablets
- Retention of outputs: replays, galleries and downloads add storage and moderation time
- Rehearsal and operator time on site; kiosks, tablets, cameras and LED walls come from the venue or a hardware partner, not from Sociana
Questions people ask
Can people upload photos of themselves instead?
The brief asks for objects, and the notice says so, but a photo can contain a face. Because of that the activation uses the photo consent step, and the organiser can block uploads that show people.
Does the AI wall show everything people make?
No. A wall item appears only after an operator approves it, and a blocked-word list runs before generation. A participant can still download their own result without it reaching the wall.
What is the closest proof Sociana has?
The AI avatar flows at enGen X 2026 and Growth Code: selfie in, generated image out, with Skip, retry and an on-screen disclaimer. Object Remix reuses that pattern but has not itself run at an event.
