What is “Dealer meet”?

A dealer meet is a company's annual or launch gathering of dealers and distributors, combining product announcements, scheme details, awards and hospitality, usually at a resort or overseas destination.

Also called: distributor meet, channel partner meet, dealer convention

Dealer meet in detail

Dealer meets are the channel head's largest annual event: hundreds of dealers travel, hear the year's schemes, watch product launches and applaud the top performers. Three problems recur. Dealers are not always app people, so login must be as simple as a phone OTP or a printed code. Hospitality is heavy: flights, rooms and pickups for every dealer. And awards must land correctly, with the right name on the slide and the dealer actually in the hall. Sociana's configuration answers each. OTP or unique-code login runs against the partner list; hospitality publishing gives each dealer a flights and stay card; awards with nominees, criteria and winners are shown in the app, and group scoping keeps dealer content apart from employee content. Live polls on venue screens work with no login. Brief the sales and trade marketing team early, because they usually own the guest list and the budget, and agree what is pending versus provided before the meet starts.

How Sociana uses it

Dealer meets use partner-list login, group-scoped content for partners and employees, hospitality cards, awards and no-login polls on venue screens.

Example

HCCB Partners Meet 2026 in Goa served partners and employees from one branded app, with flights and stay per guest, awards and live polls scoped by group.
