R&R covers two very different things in Indian buyer language: a year-round HR programme with budgets and approvals, and the awards night where winners are celebrated on stage. Sociana plays in the event-and-programme layer, not the HR suite. That means programme leaderboards, tournaments, contests and submissions that run for weeks, a points wallet and a venue reward store with QR redemption, and awards and nominations with criteria, nominees and winners shown in the app. It does not replace an R&R platform with approval budgets, eNPS, service yearbooks or a gift-card marketplace; where those exist, export points for redemption elsewhere. This candour helps buyers: an HR lead can run a six-week challenge with Sociana and keep the budget system they already own. Keep wallet points, which are spent, separate from leaderboard points, which rank. Publish the rules upfront so recognition feels fair, and let managers see participation by group before the awards evening.
