Reward store in detail
Points only motivate if they lead somewhere. The reward store is where wallet points turn into something a participant can hold: a branded gift, an experience slot, a merchandise item, or a voucher the client supplies. The organiser lists items with a points price, available stock and an optional limit per person, so budget is controlled by the catalogue rather than by policing. Participants browse inside the app, choose an item, and receive a redemption QR to show at a counter, where staff scan it to confirm fulfilment. Because the store sits on top of the wallet, ranking is unaffected by purchases. Sociana describes this as a venue reward store with QR redemption. It is not a gift-card marketplace, and it does not handle tax-compliant benefits; where a client wants vouchers from a benefits vendor, points can be exported for redemption there instead. Item lists can be adjusted during the occasion as stock moves.
How Sociana uses it
The store belongs to the points and rewards cluster. Items, prices, stock and limits are set in the admin panel; redemptions are logged against the participant's identity.
Example
A corporate booth-rewards programme ran a counter where employees scanned a QR to collect items bought with points.
