Features, Rules and Look & layout in detail
Every occasion in Sociana is configured through the same three layers, which is why delivery can be fast and repeatable. Features answer the question of what exists: each module is on, off or not included. Rules answer how it behaves: who can post, who can download, which email domains are whitelisted, whether chat needs a ticket, which groups see a poll. Look and layout answers how it appears: branding, home tiles, icons, bottom tabs, banners, splash screen and welcome content, including themed labels such as Show Flow or Programme. Separating the layers makes configuration auditable and reusable; a template can carry all three, and an organiser can change a rule without touching the look. It also explains the delivery pattern, with configuration of the three layers expected in roughly the first three days and content and launch following over the next several days before the occasion.
How Sociana uses it
The three layers are edited in the admin panel for each occasion. Feature pages list the switches and rules that belong to each module.
Example
A wedding app can use themed labels and a custom home layout, while a corporate offsite changed only features and rules on the same engine.
