PNR in detail
In Indian event operations the PNR is the key that unlocks travel coordination. A six-character reference ties a person to a flight or train booking, and when organisers hold it they can match arrivals to pickups, watch for rebooked flights and brief airport desks. Sociana does not issue PNRs and does not book travel; it provides the means to request them from participants, store them against the right person and verify them. A hospitality request may ask for the PNR as text, alongside the flight date or a ticket document, and the state moves from pending to provided to verified when the desk confirms it. Because a PNR is personal travel data, access should follow role and need: the hospitality team sees it, the general participant list does not. Consent wording should state why it is collected and how long it is kept. PNR reconciliation then checks collected references against the actual arrival manifest.
How Sociana uses it
PNRs are collected through hospitality requests and shown on My Flights once published. Access is limited to roles that handle travel.
Example
A destination conclave collected PNRs before travel so arrivals could be reconciled against pickups.
