PNR reconciliation in detail
A collected PNR is a promise; the manifest is the truth. Reconciliation compares the two. Typically the night before arrival, the hospitality team lines up the references participants submitted, the travel agent's manifest and the pickup schedule. Differences are the work: a person on an earlier flight than recorded, a reference that does not match any booking, a companion missing from the list, a rescheduled arrival. In Sociana the collected values sit in the hospitality module with their states, so unverified or mismatched items can be filtered and chased, and corrected details can be republished to the person's page. The process feeds hospitality completeness, since only verified records count. Reconciliation is a repeated routine rather than a one-off: in the last days it is run daily, and on arrival day it is run each morning. The goal is fewer surprises at the airport desk and a clean exception log for the post-event report.
How Sociana uses it
Reconciliation is a workflow around the operations workspace: filter pending and mismatched records, correct, verify and republish. It is central to destination conclaves.
Example
A hospitality-heavy conclave reconciled PNRs against arrival information before each pickup wave.
