AI as creator
Future Self Persona: meet your AI future self
Future Self Persona builds on the Talk To Your Future Self avatar Sociana ran at Growth Code: a participant takes a selfie, waits up to a minute and meets an AI version of their future self that answers tappable questions. We can extend it with a short quiz and a 2035 role, bio and card, built for your event.
Built on a live featureBuilt on the live Future Self avatar; the 2035 work-persona version is built for your event.
The idea
The AI is the creator of a personal identity moment. At Growth Code the avatar could be downloaded and could appear on event screens, and the flow has explicit fallbacks. The extended version adds a role, a badge and a live mosaic wall for culture and leadership events.
How it runs on event day
- Attendee
- Allows the camera, takes a selfie, chooses Retake or Proceed, waits for the avatar, taps questions to read what the future self says and downloads the avatar.
- Operator
- Switches the AI avatar on, sets the question set and screen policy, and approves any avatar before it goes on the venue screen.
- LED or venue screen
- A live mosaic of approved avatars and, if the organiser enables it, a role or bio line.
Inputs and outputs
Inputs
- Selfie taken in the app
- A few answers or a persona set from the organiser
- Login consent to the screen disclaimer
Outputs
- Future-self avatar, downloadable
- Answers to tappable questions, kept under Your Interactions
- Optional 2035 card and mosaic entry
Moderation and fallback
Human approval. The questions and the persona set are organiser-written and an operator approves every avatar before a screen shows it. The participant can always skip and still use the app.
If something fails
- A named operator can pause, skip or replay any round from the admin panel
- STILL WORKING with CHECK AGAIN and GENERATION FAILED with TRY AGAIN are the states people see, with a clearer-photo tip
- Skip is always offered, and the rest of the app works without an avatar
Privacy and consent
A selfie is taken or uploaded only after a consent tap, and a disclaimer at login records agreement wherever an avatar may appear on a venue screen, as in Growth Code. Participants can skip and still play. The photo is used to generate the result and removed on the retention schedule set for the occasion.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 the organiser decides the purpose and the retention period, and Sociana configures the consent notice, the withdrawal route and deletion on request. Collect only what a round needs. Details sit on the data protection and AI pages in the trust centre; nothing here is a legal opinion. See responsible AI, data protection and DPDP and Smart Lens and biometric consent.
What drives the cost
Price band: ₹35,000–₹75,000 per activation per occasion, ex-GST (add-on menu). Per-completion model costs are quoted on actuals at proposal; no per-completion rate is published.
- Rounds per day times players per round, since every completion triggers one or more model calls
- Model mix for the round: a vision model for the selfie, an image model and a language model for the answers
- Avatars generated per person and retries
- Reporting is by completions, fallbacks, latency and cost, never coaching gains
- Peak concurrency, which sets queueing and the number of kiosks or tablets
- Retention of outputs: replays, galleries and downloads add storage and moderation time
- Rehearsal and operator time on site; kiosks, tablets, cameras and LED walls come from the venue or a hardware partner, not from Sociana
Questions people ask
What has already run?
Growth Code's Talk To Your Future Self: selfie, Retake or Proceed, a wait of up to a minute, tappable questions and a download, with explicit retry states. The 2035 role and mosaic wall are new, built for your event.
Does it work if someone does not want an avatar?
Yes. Skip is always offered and the rest of the app works without an avatar. The login disclaimer records consent for avatars that may appear on event screens.
Does it prove the avatar changes behaviour?
No. An avatar is an activation. We report completions, fallbacks, latency and cost, and make no claim about coaching or learning outcomes.
Want this on your screens?
Tell us the occasion and the audience. We will show you the activation running with your branding.
