Event & attendee codes

A code that says which event, or exactly who.

An event code adds an event to a guest’s app: tap Join with Code, type it, or scan the QR on an invite or poster. A personal unique code signs one participant in without waiting for an SMS, as Growth Code did. Codes are generated in the admin panel and handed out by your team.

FAQ

Common questions

What is the difference between the two codes?

An event code says which event a guest is joining. A personal unique code identifies one participant and signs them in.

Can a code open another client’s event?

No. An event code opens only the event it was generated for.

Who distributes personal codes?

Your team, from the list we generate. Distribution is planned as part of launch.

Can codes replace OTP entirely?

Yes, for an occasion set up that way. Codes can also sit alongside phone or email OTP.
