Attendee code in detail
Sometimes the guest list holds names but not usable contact details, or the occasion needs a fixed one-to-one link between person and credential. An attendee code solves this by issuing each person a personal code, delivered through the invitation channel the organiser trusts: a printed card, an email, a WhatsApp message, or a ticket. Entering it links the app session to that person's pre-loaded profile, so their agenda, groups, arrangements and points belong to them. Because the code maps to one person, it is more precise than a shared occasion code, and it complements whitelists and imports. It is also closely related to unique-code login used in leadership programmes and to delegate ID and PIN used in government settings, each with a slightly different delivery and verification pattern. Operationally, plan for lost or forwarded codes: reissue must be possible, and rules should limit how many devices a code can activate.
How Sociana uses it
Personal codes are generated against the member list and distributed outside the app. They tie a login to one profile and its group memberships.
Example
A wedding or private event can issue personal codes with invitations so each guest lands on their own profile.
