Delegate ID and PIN in detail
Some gatherings cannot rely on personal contact details. Government and defence workshops, protocol-sensitive meetings and some international delegations issue credentials through official channels, and delegates are expected to use them. Sociana supports this with delegate ID and PIN login: the organiser imports delegates, generates an ID and a PIN for each, distributes them through the established route, and delegates sign in with the pair. There is no OTP delivery to a personal phone in the chain, which both suits the protocol and avoids SMS dependency. The profile behind the ID carries role, delegation and arrangements, so cab, liaison officer and hotel details appear in the delegate's app. The method is simple to describe and operationally dependent on credential distribution: the organiser needs a reliable way to hand out and re-issue IDs. How Sociana uses it
Delegate ID/PIN is one of Sociana's login models, alongside OTP, employee code, unique code and email domain. Credentials are generated from the member import.
