How it runs
How a Sociana association convention runs
Before
- We set up your association app once, then open the convention inside it with its agenda, sponsors and exhibitors.
- Members sign in with a code on their phone or email; anyone not on the member list stays out.
- The hospitality hub collects documents and travel, and your team announces transfers by group.
On the day
- Members follow the agenda, find exhibitors and vote in polls from the hall.
- Exhibitors scan visitors and keep their leads; sponsors are seen on Home and in the feed.
- Session summaries go out once an organiser approves each one.
After
- Attendance, polls and leads export for the secretariat and for exhibitors.
- The app stays on members’ phones for the next chapter meet and the AGM.
- Next year’s convention opens in the same app, with no new download.

Questions about association and member events
Do members need a new app for every event?
No. They install your association’s app once. Each new occasion opens inside it, and members land in the one they are part of.
Can non-members get in?
Only if you add them. Sign-in is checked against your member or delegate list, and anyone else sees a polite message that access is not available.
Are the AI session summaries published automatically?
No. AI drafts each summary, and members see it only after an organiser has read and approved it.
Can members pay for things in the app?
Yes. APMI members booked and paid for meeting-room slots through Razorpay, with GST invoices, inside the conference app. The same checkout works for registrations and add-ons.
