QR entry pass in detail
The entry pass is the digital replacement for the paper invitation and, in many Indian events, the lanyard. Each member's app holds a personal QR tied to their identity. At the gate, staff scan it with the organiser app; the system checks the relevant attendance rules, such as ticket type, group eligibility and time window, and records the result. Sociana's design choice is that one identity powers several QR contexts: entry pass, exhibitor scan, reward redemption, activity QR and contact-card exchange. They are distinct purposes on a single person, so a visitor does not juggle codes. The entry pass can be linked to tickets, with the code appearing only after purchase, and to time windows for specific days. Sociana does not print badges on site or supply kiosk hardware. If a printed lanyard is required, organisers use a partner or their own process, with the QR pass remaining the access method.
How Sociana uses it
The entry pass is generated per member and scanned through attendance activities. It works with ticket-linked access and shares an identity with personal QR contact cards.
Example
A wedding-industry exhibition issued entry passes to ticket buyers and scanned them at the door.
