Unified leaderboard in detail
Many apps run a separate leaderboard for each activity, which leaves participants unsure what matters and organisers with five tables to reconcile. Sociana's unified leaderboard merges points from every enabled source into one ranking per occasion. Sources are configured by the organiser: posting to the timeline, answering polls, winning games, completing attendance activities, syncing steps, scanning stalls, giving feedback and even answering hospitality requests. The ranking can be filtered by time period or activity, shown as an individual board or a team board, and adjusted by administrators when a correction is needed, with staff accounts excluded so organisers never appear above guests. Crucially, the leaderboard runs on leaderboard points, which are kept separate from spendable wallet points, so redeeming a reward never drops someone's rank. The leaderboard can also be shown on venue screens or a public web page for wider visibility.
How Sociana uses it
The leaderboard reads from every points-earning module. It is the Data layer's single ranking, kept separate from wallet balances, and supports filters, team boards, admin adjustments and staff exclusion.
Example
A corporate offsite combined games, attendance and steps into one leaderboard, so every kind of participation counted toward the same ranking.
