Good to know
- Smart Lens searches only the photos the organiser has published. If you see Get ready to relive your best moments, the albums are not up yet.
- Some apps open the AI photo gallery in your phone browser instead of inside the app.
If something goes wrong
AI Gallery Link is not present. The gallery is not ready yet. Check back after the photographers upload.
The camera does not open. Allow camera access for the app in phone Settings and try again.
You cannot save a photo. Allow photo or storage access for the app in phone Settings.
Questions
Is Smart Lens always on?
No. The organiser switches Smart Lens on for each occasion and agrees the consent wording before launch. You see that wording when you save a selfie, and you can stop there if you would rather not. It searches only the photos the organiser has published, so empty albums mean nothing to match yet.
Does it find photos added after I search?
Not automatically. Smart Lens searches the albums that were published when you searched, so run it again once new albums go up. If you see “Get ready to relive your best moments”, the albums are not up yet. Check back after the photographers upload and open Smart Lens from Highlights again.
