Set up Smart Lens and consent

How organisers publish gallery albums, switch Smart Lens on and agree the consent wording so attendees can find their photos from a saved selfie.

  1. Create albums and upload the approved photos to the gallery
  2. Switch on Smart Lens for the occasion
  3. Agree the consent wording with the client
  4. Test with a staff selfie in the app under Highlights

Good to know

  • Smart Lens searches only photos you have published.
  • It is a finder inside the app; it does not replace a photographer delivery platform.
  • Wording and availability are agreed per occasion before launch.

If something goes wrong

Testers get no matches. The albums are not published yet or the selfie is unclear.

The Smart Lens entry is missing. The switch is off or not included.

Photos will not download. Check the gallery download control.

Questions

Is it on by default?

No. It is switched on per occasion, and the wording and availability are agreed with the client before launch. If the Smart Lens entry is missing in the app, the switch is off or it is not included. It searches only photos you have published, so create albums and upload approved photos first.

Where do guests find it?

Under Highlights, with the line “Find your image, instantly”. Guests tap Smart Lens, save a selfie and agree to the consent wording. It is a finder inside the app and does not replace a photographer delivery platform. Test with a staff selfie first; no matches usually means the albums are not published or the selfie is unclear.
