DMC in detail

A DMC is the on-ground partner an event agency or corporate buyer hires when the occasion happens in a destination they do not know. It arranges transfers, hotel blocks, venues, guides and local entertainment. For overseas incentive trips from India, such as Bangkok, Phuket, Dubai or Sri Lanka, the DMC is often the main supplier. Sociana does not replace a DMC; it gives the DMC and agency one surface to publish what they arrange. Their travel desk sheet, flights, hotels, cabs and liaison contacts, is imported and published as My Stay, My Flights and My Journey cards, and PNR reconciliation catches mismatches. The DMC can also load the local guide and a phrasebook for the destination. When the buyer is the agency, a multi-client app lets it reuse the setup for each client programme. For partnership, align early on who owns the master list, how changes flow from DMC to desk to the app and which version counts when a flight is rebooked at midnight.

How Sociana uses it

DMCs and travel desks supply arrivals, stays and transfers; Sociana imports and publishes them as per-person cards and reconciles PNRs.

Example

A hospitality-heavy conclave in Jaipur imported its travel desk sheet and published each delegate's stay and journey cards, with arrivals reconciled behind the scenes.
