AI as creator

AI Session Summaries: drafted by AI, approved by you

AI Session Summaries is a live Sociana feature: Sociana drafts a summary of a session with AI and publishes it only after a named organiser approves, rejects or edits it. Members who missed a talk read it under Ai Session, so the human step protects the speaker and the occasion.

Built on a live featureLive feature, switched on per occasion; included from the Events & Hospitality package.

The idea

The AI is the creator of a first draft, and the approval step is the product. The same pattern, organiser approval before anything reaches attendees, applies to every other activation on this list.

How it runs on event day

Attendee
Opens Ai Session in the app after a talk and reads the approved summary, or sees that none is published yet.
Operator
Opens AI Session Admin, reviews each draft, approves, rejects or edits it and chooses when it goes live.
LED or venue screen
Summaries can be shown on a venue screen after the session, once approved.

Inputs and outputs

Inputs

  • The session's recording, transcript or notes, as the occasion provides
  • Organiser edits

Outputs

  • A draft summary
  • An approved or edited summary shown in the app
  • An approval log with who and when

Moderation and fallback

Human approval. Nothing publishes without a named organiser approving or editing it, which is the standard for every activation here. Rejected drafts are never shown.

If something fails

  • A named operator can pause, skip or replay any round from the admin panel
  • If the draft is poor or late, the organiser writes it by hand or skips the session
  • If the model is unavailable, no summary appears for that session and nothing else is affected

Privacy and consent

No camera or microphone is needed. Typed answers and chosen options are stored with the participant record for scoring and reports, and the notice says so. Names and company details appear on a screen only if the organiser switches that on. Speakers should be told that sessions may be summarised; the organiser decides whether recordings are kept.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 the organiser decides the purpose and the retention period, and Sociana configures the consent notice, the withdrawal route and deletion on request. Collect only what a round needs. Details sit on the data protection and AI pages in the trust centre; nothing here is a legal opinion. What drives the cost

Price band: Included from the Events & Hospitality package; ₹15,000 per occasion on the Launch package, ex-GST (add-on menu).

  • Rounds per day times players per round, since every completion triggers one or more model calls
  • Model mix for the round: a language model on session text
  • Length and number of sessions; the cost is in the model call per session
  • Peak concurrency, which sets queueing and the number of kiosks or tablets
  • Retention of outputs: replays, galleries and downloads add storage and moderation time
  • Rehearsal and operator time on site; kiosks, tablets, cameras and LED walls come from the venue or a hardware partner, not from Sociana

Questions people ask

Does the AI publish anything on its own?

No. A named organiser must approve, reject or edit each draft in AI Session Admin before members can read it under Ai Session. That approval step is what protects speakers.

Where has it run?

In EEMA Connect, the Event & Entertainment Management Association's member app. It is a feature the organiser switches on per occasion, and a demo shows the approval flow with mock content.

What does it cost?

It is included from the Events & Hospitality package and ₹15,000 per occasion on Launch, ex-GST. The exact figure is confirmed in the proposal.
