How a Sociana ticketed event runs
Before
- We set up ticket types, prices and gate rules, with payments to your account.
- Buyers get their pass in the app; you see the buyer list live.
- Announcements go out to ticket-holders on schedule.
On the day
- Staff scan passes at the gate with zones, re-entry and time windows.
- Buyers check the line-up and post to the feed.
- Scans are blocked while a payment is still pending.
After
- Money has already settled daily to your account.
- You get tickets sold and scans by gate.
- Your buyer list is ready for the next event.

Ticketed events are priced per ticket on Flex or as one flat fee, never as a percentage of ticket value. Free community events can use the shared app at no Sociana fee.
How it is priced
- Flat
- From ₹99,000 + GST per event or season
0% Sociana commission. Best for: Above about 6,600 tickets, or organisers who want a custom layout, website and in-app food or merch. - Flex
- ₹15 per ticket issued, minimum ₹15,000 (+ GST)
No percentage of ticket value; capped at the Flat price; no set-up fee. Best for: Paid events of about 1,000–6,600 tickets, and any event where ticket prices are high.
For concerts, fests, runs, paid meet-ups and paid-entry expos. Priced per ticket issued, not by ticket value. Prices exclude GST.
FAQ
Questions promoters ask
Do you take a percentage of ticket sales?
No. Flex is a small fee per ticket issued, capped at the Flat price; Flat is one fee with no commission.
When do we get the money?
Payments settle daily to your own gateway account. Sociana never holds your ticket money.
Do we need our own app on the stores?
Flex uses a templated branded app; Flat adds a custom layout and an event website. Free community events can run on the shared Sociana app.
Do you print badges or sell seat maps?
No. We do not print badges or offer seat maps. Passes are QR codes in the app, scanned on staff phones.
Selling tickets for your next event?
Tell us the event, the date and how many tickets you expect. We will suggest Flat or Flex and show you the gate on a phone.
