Super Admin in detail
Sociana's permission ladder starts at the top with the Super Admin. This role belongs to the platform operator, not to a client's event team, and it can create and configure organisations, create occasions, assign panel admins, and change global settings. Below it sit panel admins, who are scoped to particular occasions and may be limited to read-only or read-write access. Below those are in-app Owners and Managers, then ordinary guests, public web visitors and partners. The layered model exists so that responsibility can be delegated without exposing everything: a client's coordinator can edit their own occasion's content, an analyst can read reports without changing them, and only the platform team can alter how organisations themselves are set up. Activity logs record who changed what and when, which makes every elevated action traceable during a data-handling or procurement review.
How Sociana uses it
Super Admin is the top rung of the role ladder in the admin panel. Panel admins are granted occasion scope and read or read-write access beneath it, with changes recorded in activity logs.
Example
On a multi-client agency app, Super Admin creates each client organisation, while the client's own panel admins see only their occasion.
