Recommended: Ticketed Events
Paid fests are priced per ticket on Flex or as one fee on Flat; free events can use the community tier, and colleges get a discount on Launch.
How it is priced
- Flat
- From ₹99,000 + GST per event or season
0% Sociana commission. Best for: Above about 6,600 tickets, or organisers who want a custom layout, website and in-app food or merch. - Flex
- ₹15 per ticket issued, minimum ₹15,000 (+ GST)
No percentage of ticket value; capped at the Flat price; no set-up fee. Best for: Paid events of about 1,000–6,600 tickets, and any event where ticket prices are high.
For concerts, fests, runs, paid meet-ups and paid-entry expos. Priced per ticket issued, not by ticket value. Prices exclude GST.

Questions schools and universities ask
Does the money go to the college?
Yes. Payments settle daily to the institution’s or committee’s own gateway account.
Can students book individual events?
Yes. Each event can have its own capacity and price.
Is there a free option?
Free events with up to 300 registrations can run on the shared Sociana app, joined by code, with no Sociana fee.
Can the app be reused next year?
Yes. It stays live for twelve months, and the next fest can open inside it.
