FAQ

Questions NGOs and foundations ask

Do you take a cut of donations?

No. Payments settle to your own account; Sociana charges per registration or a flat fee.

Which of your events is closest to an NGO fundraiser?

HSBC’s 45-day step challenge, APMI’s paid bookings and the BWF meet-up’s ticketing. Together they cover pledges by steps, paid places and entry by QR.

Which trackers count steps?

Apple Health and Health Connect; not Fitbit or Garmin directly.

Is there a non-profit discount?

Yes. Registered non-profits get a discount on the package once we have seen proof of status.
