Unstoppable NAMI 2026: The strategy meet app for NAM India at Aamby Valley
Unstoppable NAMI was the app for NAM India's Annual Strategy Meet 2026 at Aamby Valley, Lonavala, delivered with the agency Mintlabs. It signed in employees with their code, city and zone, collected ID documents before travel, guided them round the resort, ran the Nippon Quiz and live polls, and opened a direct question line to leadership.
Client: NAM India · Agency: Mintlabs

The occasion
NAM India brought its people to Aamby Valley, Lonavala, for the Annual Strategy Meet 2026, held 3–5 April with arrivals on 2 April. The agency Mintlabs produced the meet, and Sociana built the attendee app, Unstoppable NAMI, in Nippon India Mutual Fund red under the meet’s line “Unstoppable — Excellence Unleashed”.
What the client needed
A strategy meet for a national sales organisation lives or dies on context. The event team had to know, for every person who signed in, their employee code, city and zone, so that messages and attendance could be read by zone rather than as one long list. Travel needed paperwork: Aadhaar and passport copies and arrival details, gathered before people left home, with a way for the check-in desk to see who was still missing something.
The venue added its own demands. Aamby Valley is a resort campus with a convention hall, an auditorium, a golf club and dining spread across it, in early-April heat. People needed directions, a packing list, the weather and a dress code for three very different occasions: conference mornings, a Bollywood welcome night and a gala music fest.
Inside the hall, the team wanted a quiz and live polls they could run from their own phones, and leadership wanted a direct channel: “Ask your ED & CEO Anything”. Consent had to come first, with the privacy policy accepted before anyone received a code.
What we built
Sign-in with consent and context
Attendees typed their phone number or email and read a privacy policy that said plainly what was collected and that details would be shared only to coordinate check-in with the hotel. Then a one-time code arrived. First-timers filled in name, designation, employee code, city and zone on the same screen, and never saw that form again.

Your Details: travel paperwork in the app
Each attendee’s Profile held a hospitality form called Your Details. Items showed as Pending until answered. Aadhaar and passport, front and back, could be uploaded from the phone or photographed on the spot, and stay details started with the arrival date.

The resort in one tab
The Information tab carried About the City, About Venue, FAQs, What to Pack, Do’s and Don’ts, a weather forecast, latitude and longitude for each venue and an illustrated dress code. On Home, the Venue Map listed event and room locations with a hand-off to the phone’s maps, and Venue AV played a video tour of Aamby Valley.

Nippon Quiz and Live Polls
Both sat under Engagement on Home. The event team wrote questions ahead of time, such as what NAV stands for or which product tracks a market index, and kept them hidden. A quiz question could not be saved without every option filled and one correct answer marked. In the session they switched a question to Visible and Active, and the room answered on their phones. Polls asked how people saw the firm’s growth journey and its leadership style, and results came back as percentages.

A line to leadership, a forum and a feed
“Ask your ED & CEO Anything” opened a chat straight to leadership, next to a Discussion Forum for every attendee. The Feed took photos, videos and hashtags, with likes, comments and sharing. After the sessions, 2026 Highlights held albums for each conference day, the welcome event and the gala night, and Smart Lens let each person find the photos they appeared in.

Tools for the event team
Managers and Owners saw four extra options on Profile. Take Attendance scanned each person’s Event QR code and showed their employee code, city, zone and whether their Aadhaar and passport had been uploaded. Trigger Notifications scheduled messages to selected groups. Trigger Live Polls and Trigger Nippon Quiz ran the hall.

Built for a busy campus
Small things kept the app calm under pressure. Home sections the team had not yet opened showed a lock rather than an error, so each one could sit ready until its moment. If a phone lost signal between venues, the whole app turned red with a plain “You are offline!” message and recovered by itself when the connection returned. The Emergency Contact list put fire and organiser numbers one tap away by call, email or WhatsApp. And when the meet was over, anyone who wanted their account removed could ask from Profile, with a notice on Home while the deletion was in progress.
How it ran
Day 0, Thursday 2 April, was arrivals: check-ins at the Convention Center from noon, lunch at Wood Pecker, hi-tea, then dinner at Summit. Conference sessions ran on the mornings of 3 and 4 April, the welcome event on the evening of 3 April and the gala night on 4 April, each with its own dress code in the app.
The team used notifications to move people around the campus: “Hi-tea is now being served at the Auditorium”, “Step into the fest, the night begins now”. The Discussion Forum gave attendees one place to ask questions during the meet. Once the meet closed, a final note pointed everyone to the 2026 Highlights and thanked them for being part of the meet.

Outcomes
- 1,225 people were on the organiser’s attendance list for the meet.
- One sign-in carried the full context for every attendee, so notifications went to chosen groups and the check-in scan showed who was still missing ID documents.
What we would do again
- Ask for ID documents in the app and show whether they arrived on the attendance scan.
- Write quiz and poll questions before the day, keep them hidden and release them live.
- Put venue, weather, packing and dress code in one tab, so attendees stop asking the desk.
- Capture zone and city at sign-in; every later message depends on it.
