Sociana Event Wallet: common questions
What is Sociana Event Wallet?
It is the guest's wallet of event points and vouchers in the Sociana app: points earned in games, sessions, hunts and steps, a reward store with prices, stock and limits, and redemption by QR at the prize desk.
Is it a cashless payment wallet?
No. It holds event points and vouchers, not money. Points cannot be bought or cashed out; tickets and payments are handled by Sociana Ticketing.
How do guests redeem?
At the prize desk, staff scan the guest's wallet QR; the stock goes down and the redemption is logged. Limits per person stop one guest emptying the store.
Can we run a lucky draw?
Auditable draws with a public log, spin wheels and scratch cards are coming soon. Today rewards are redeemed from the store at their point price.
Are wallet points the same as leaderboard points?
No. Wallet points can be spent; leaderboard points rank people. Keeping them separate means spending at the store never lowers anyone's rank.
